Symbian waltzes over to LG, finds itself on Joy

While most people would only associate Symbian with Nokia smartphones, other manufacturers are making use of the operating system as well. LG is joining the Symbian party with a sliding smartphone called ''Joy''. Yes, they're that happy about the venture.
Samsung jumped on the bandwagon earlier this week, so I guess their Korean cousin didn't want to feel left out. The LG Joy will be running on Symbian OS v9 S60 3rd Edition, boasting a 2.4-inch LCD, Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP, xHTML browser, 2 megapixel camera, VGA cam for video calls, microSD expansion, and even high-speed HSDPA. No sleek touch sensitive keys like the Chocolate though.
